Very easy to put together and true to description. I gave it four stars because the shelf wood has several spots where the veneer is coming up.

The chair shipped to me unassembled in a box. I put it together. It does not sit like the chair I sat in on the showroom floor. That chair was so comfortable I changed my mind about what chair I would buy. This chair is so uncomfortable I will likely never sit in it again. So it's become a very expensive cat chair.

Would not buy again - very uncomfortable to sit on

Sorry to say, there are several things about this purchase that went awry - for one, there was no mention by the sales person that this chair would be delivered in pieces and parts and that I'd have to put it together. This did not make me happy, but I got it together after an hour or so. The bigger issue, however, is that, though it looks like the chair in the showroom, the chair I sat in and very much liked and bought based on sitting on it, this chair has very, very, very stiff cushions and is unfortunately very uncomfortable to sit on. Yet my cat Bud LOVES this chair, laying both under it and sitting on it. Go figure. Maybe, in time, it will loose its stiffness, but that means I'll have to keep sitting on this very uncomfortable chair hoping that one day it will become comfortable. Less

This mid-century modern chair is extremely comfortable. It is very easy to put together. The wooden legs are solid and a great finish. The chair has a nice slope to it.
