Cool Appliance!
It"s a very unique appliance! Love it!
Multi-functional--great value
I have used this multi-cooker as a hot pot at least several times per week. Liquid will come to a rapid boil after at least five minutes on setting three but will continue simmering on setting one (turn to setting one right after boiling starts to prevent bubbling over through the lid). The three-quart capacity is great for soups, stews, etc. Cleanup is no problem, but I don't believe the stainless steel is 18-10. STILL, it's stainless steel with no chemical nonstick properties and thus healthy cooking. After a few washings, I apply a small dab of extra virgin olive oil for the integrity of the stainless steel finish.
