This is great for dosas! This heats evenly, and dosas come out thin and crispy (if that's what's preferred). I only seasoned it once before use. My parents asked me if another one was available. We used Lodge before after many rounds of seasoning, but the surface of this one is smoother, the dosas are crispier, and the side handles are a plus.

It's Time for Pizza

This cast iron Pizza Pan is the perfect size for the Cauliflower pizzas we eat all the time. the pizza comes out perfect every time. Easy to use and to clean. We use ours at least twice a week.

Cracked on first use!

First pizza made in October, already developed a crack...

Not great for frozen pizzas but great for frsh homemade pizzas. We also used as a griddle while camping and it was great! I recommend familiarizing yourself with cooking with cast iron before purchasing.

Brilliant addition

This unassuming cast iron pan is a huge star & full of surprises. The size makes it a 1 pan grill for dinners for two-- it beautifully sears meat (or perfectly cooks halibut or other filets from frozen in about 15 minutes.) Pre-seasoned is great but I keep renewing the oiling at 300 degree oven for 1hr because it has the most miraculous nonstick functionality. Surprisingly, I keep the heat on medium because it holds and transfers heat so well! It also fits inside my XL Oster Airfryer oven so I have endlessly expanded my kitchen's abilities.

Rough surface and hairline crack

This cast iron pizza pan looks and feels sturdy however it is an overall mediocre quality. The finish is very rough but I figured it might be this way given the price. I decided to try sanding down the surface to get it a bit smoother. But before I was going to sand it I washed it then dried it on low heat on my stove. That's when I noticed a small hairline crack near the handle. Again, this isn't a surprise given the price but it's also not a simple fix. With cast iron a small hairline crack might go a hundred years without worsening or it might grow and split the whole thing in two the first time you use it. I've decided I'll go ahead and try sanding it down and see what happens. Of course I won't be able to return it if it breaks but since it was so cheap I'm willing to make that gamble. I'll try and remember to update my review with my results.
