Measurements and frame
I purchased 2 of these for my upstairs windows. They look beautiful, the copper coated metal liners are very nice, however the frame itself seems too light to withstand the full depth of soil (so I'm going to put a few inches of foam at the bottom to reduce weight) ALSO, the distance between mounting holes differ from one box to another. Glad I measured first. I think they'll look awesome once they're up. Just use caution measuring, and I'd recommend a very light soil, or do what I plan to do.
Hardware doesn't work
the hardware for the box did not fit our railing. Therefore, the box kept falling off and we couldn't get it to stay. We will reluctantly use them as plain flower boxes on the patio as we are unable to find any railing boxes this year. The hardware assumes either a perfect rectangle railing or a round one. ours is wrought iron which is a narrow rectangle with raised round mound in the middle. We bought different hardware which was supposed to work, but these boxes are too wide.
Two different color boxes
Ordered two window boxes and they were 2 different colors. One box had rust on the corner of the frame. A pain to lug back 2 boxes to Lowe’s.
Window Box pretty good
Good quality over all. Color is bronze/muddy brown. We spray painted with metalic copper paint which is brighter and has more contract. Hammer copper painted looked about the same as how they came. The metal boxes are a little tricky sometimes to get back in the frames - be careful not to bend the swirly metal parts on the frame or it won't go in. Also install far enough below window so you can still get the box in after the frame is on the wall. They are very difficult to install with the box in them. We bought these because they won't rot and we can spray paint them again when needed. Bought 6.

Check your fence railing catefully
Beautiful flower box, but brackets for fence railing weren’t big enough and were too strong to bend open.
