Shoddy materials

Cheap, shoddy particle board started coming apart before I even finished assembling it. Cam popped out of the wood as I was moving bookcase around. DON"T BUY.

Solid, well-made piece of furniture.

Solid, well-made piece of furniture. Quite heavy. Takes a little time and effort to put together and needs occasional help from a second person, but not a real big problem. We ordered the cherry, which looks good, altho its darker and redder than we would have preferred. Didn't match our existing mid-century Danish teak bookcases (which seem impossible to find at other than exorbitant prices) as well as we would have liked. Delivered quickly. Although delivery price was high, the total price was competitive with Amazon, etc..

Attractive, very solidly built

The bookcase arrived in perfect condition. It is very attractive, and very solidly built. I'm very happy with this purchase!

I wish I hadn't bought this.

The first problem was that it was shipped to a freight transport company. I had drive sdm hour and a half one way to pick it up. Then when I got it home and unpacked found that both the side boards are cracked in half. When trying to contact the seller through the website I purchased it from, I was told they are not the ones who sold it to me.

Great -For the money

I searched the internet for days trying to beat either the price or the quality. To no avail. If you follow their instructions VERY CAREFULLY you will end up with a bookshelf that is functional and is of a good quality considering the price. However if you are looking for an all wood showcase piece this is not for you.

The bookcases were as expected. there was a slight deformity in 1, but this was most likely due to shipping, and didn't compromise its look or function.
