Great style but leans

After buying and assembling 5 lamps recently, I anticipated this one the most. I like the style, and decided to spend a lot more to get a better product. It is surprisingly lightweight for its size compared with other sturdy lamps I bought, but the glass shade is still substantial and the base is very heavy, which makes it more stable. Using liquid soap on the threads of the sections of the shaft to ensure a proper fit, the pole section was assembled properly. Yet even on a hard, level surface, this lamp leans about 10%. I didnt return it because I dont have the time or the energy. I turn the lamp so that the angle off from plumb is least noticeable.
