Wood is orangy-yellow

The wood does NOT look like in the picture. It is an orange/yellow. Very ugly. It also comes in a million pieces.

These are the greatest chairs! I love the style and they are comfortable, the putting together wasn't too bad, but the instructions were a bit vague... They are very stylish, go with my farm house decor and are very sturdy.

Chair is very stylish- I have received a number of compliments. They were a bit hard to assemble, as you really can't tighten the screws until you have it all built. There is also a mistake in the final section where you attach the top wood piece. It says to use one of the small screws, but it actually uses the long screws and the hardware they give you supports that.

Didn't work for me

The quality was not up to my expectations. The metal slats that form the X on the chair were so thin that I could not install them without being bent. The seat was a flat plank of wood, no contour, and very little stain or protection. I returned this product.

Do not purchase

I purchased 3 of these. They were extremely hard to put together. On one I had to use a floor jack to spread the back apart to put the wood on. On all of them I had screws left over because not everything matches up.
