Outdoor rug
Did not match original picture on web site. Appeared to be a solid color. Was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. Nice mixture of brick red and beige highlights. Looks great on my back porch.
Pretty good runner rug for our entry way. We got 2 of these, one for the front entry way ans another for the garage entrance. It is thick and good quality. But it does not lay flat and moves easily without the sticky pad. A sticky pad or sticky dots are necessary for this rug to lay flat and in one place.
Fits perfectly in it's location in my RV. Colors and size as specified. Looks and feels like a woven mat. Probably very durable. Came rolled up - no creases. Very satisfied with purchase.
Simple, beautiful rug with nice colors. Decent value initially. Would like to comment later to see how it holds up outside (which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5). Arrived rolled up and folded. Unrolled, vacuumed, and gave it a few days and the center fold is still very prevalent.
nice rug, but faded to tan
The rug looked great and held up fine, except for fading significantly. It was on my deck and got a half-day full sun. It started out a brick red and faded to tan. Physically, the rug is in good shape, it’s just the wrong color. Maybe if you want a tan rug…
Disappointed
I am very disappointed in my purchase of the Jonell Courtyard rug in natural/cream. I actually had to check the label to be sure I got the correct item. The first photo is Overstock's image of this rug, the two attached are the actual product I received. There are no striations in the pattern as depicted on the website & the lighter "cream" colored squares are very pronounced & visually jarring. Unfortunately, it costs too much to return, so we are stuck with it.
Cute, But Not For Me
The rug was, finally, delivered this morning, Tuesday, March 1st. Delivery had been delayed for three days pass what was scheduled. The rug is pretty, but I'm not going to keep it because I lost my desire for it. The two edges, at the 4 feet sides, of the rug are, somehow, fused into the body of the rug by wax!?, thereby, giving the rug an unfinished look. The border at those two edges are tucked under the rug, and those tucks display a different weave pattern that the body of the rug. If my description of the rug's appearance sounds confusing, that's okay because I am confused about the looming weaving.
Bought the 4'x4' rug and it was 2.5" short all around. I really needed the full 4 feet, but I'm going to try to make it work. The color is as advertised. Definitely had to lay a bunch of heavy books on it to try and flatten out the bumps. I'm assuming it's because this is a smaller rug that came packaged in a tighter roll. Mostly disappointed in the size discrepancy. Don't buy if you need the exact size they're advertising. Only buy if you have some wiggle room.

I like the rug a lot and it goes well with my porch furnishings, which are various hues of aqua, however it looks quite different from the picture. I'm attaching a close up photo to give you a better idea. The color is more bluish aqua and there is no greenish color at all and the small fibers that run in the opposite direction of the blue is a silvery grey. I have a dog and I'm having some construction outside my house so it has been heavily used for the last two weeks and looks great. I have several outdoor rugs from Safavieh in various styles (I have two large decks and an enclosed porch) which have been outdoors summer and snow packed winters and they look as good as the day I purchased them, not much color fading and no damage even though they have been covered by up to 8 inches of snow over the last 3 years. I pick them up and hang them over railings to dry in the spring and they are good as new.
Lovely rug!
This is a beautiful outdoor rug. Lots of different color variations and a subtle texture. It looks red from a distance but has lots of orange in it if you look up close. It matches my copper-colored furniture and looks great on my deck! It had lots of creases in it from shipping but flattened out after a day or so. It's very light and was easy for me to move around by myself. The photo online makes it look like it has a subtle chevron pattern, but mine is more like a checkerboard pattern (see photos). It feels a little plastic-y so I would say this is definitely an outdoor rug. I think you'll be disappointed if you try to use this indoors. It got rained on the very first day I put it outside and it dried nicely within a couple of hours.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right size rug for my living room?
Aim for a rug that fits all the main furniture pieces on it or at least the front legs of sofas and chairs to anchor the space.
Can I layer rugs for added texture and interest?
Absolutely, layering rugs can add depth and dimension. Pair a larger, neutral rug with a smaller, patterned rug for the best effect.
What's the best way to clean and maintain my rug?
Vacuum regularly, spot clean spills immediately, and consider professional cleaning for deep stains or at least annually for high-traffic rugs.
How does rug size impact the balance of my living room?
A rug that extends the full length of the sofa can help balance the room. A small rug can make the sofa look disproportionately large.
What should I consider when positioning rugs in relation to doors and furniture?
Ensure the rug doesn't obstruct doorways or get caught on the doors. It should also not interfere with the operation of any cabinets or cupboards that open into the room.
Are there practical tips for maintaining rugs and prolonging their appearance?
Rotate your rugs annually to even out wear and fade, and address spills or flattening promptly to maintain their look and feel. For more substantial size or shape adjustments, consider having rugs cut and edged professionally.
What are some considerations for choosing a rug in relation to the sofa?
Select a rug large enough to cover the area beneath the entire sofa, which helps in unifying the space and balancing the room's proportions.
What is the recommended rug size for a living room with a sectional sofa?
The rug should not be shorter than the length of the sofa and should be wide enough to fit under all pieces of a sectional, or at least allow for the front legs to be on the rug.
Can I use a round rug with a rectangular table?
Generally, it's best to match the shape of the rug with the table. Therefore, avoid pairing a round rug with a rectangular table and vice versa for visual harmony.
