The rug was adequate but I guess you get what you pay for as it was super inexpensive. The dark color allowed for the backing to be seen whenever the carpet was moved. My son hated it and felt like it was too "scratchy" so we sent it back. I had to agree. It is not a soft rug in that sense. My daughter liked her pink one so we kept it. It also is a lighter color so we don't see the backing coming through. All in all, it is inexpensive and if you're going to probably have to replace often (kids, dogs) than it is worth it. If you want something soft and high quality, this isn't it.
