I purchased this lamp for my baby's nursery and I was so excited for how it would help the function and look of the room. Unfortunately, looks can be deceiving. Since assembling (this lamp came with NO directions or paperwork at all) I have to say I think it is either defective or very poorly designed. The base is quite light and the upright pole that connects to the glass bulb is constantly loose. We can tighten it with a set of heavy duty plyers in the am and it's already loose and dangerously wobbly by the evening! I haven't even given birth yet and I already know this lamp is too unstable to remain in that room let alone my house. Unfortunately it's too late to return so I don't know what to do to possibly fix it.
