Not Rain Proof
The description uses cute words like “weather proof” and “water resistant” while in reality the lid is a piece of wood with holes in it. Kind of defeats the purpose of storing things in it yeah?
Handsome looking furniture - not good for outdoors
The description and pictures are very misleading. It definitely is a nice-looking piece of furniture, but in no way should this be used as an outdoor storage bench. The wood top has large gaps between the panels so any liquid will easily fall into the cavity. It's also not exactly weather-friendly wood, so you'd have to ensure this is kept under a cover always unless it's being used. We quickly returned it.
