This is the best product ever. Great solution for widening doorway for wheelchair use. I can easily get the wheelchair out of the room. It was installed this past weekend. It baffled us at first because we could not figure out how to install it. My neighbor did though, just remove the pin and put it in the other end and it is easy to see how it fits.

These hinges provide an extra 1.5 inches of clearance through a doorway without modifying the door frame width because it swings the door itself out of the way. This is sometimes the difference between being able to go through a doorway or not, using a wheelchair.

It make it much easier to go through the door way in are power chairs

Unfortunately the hinges were too big and I HADN'T got around to discussing the order problem with Home Depot yet

This hinges gave me the extra 1 inch door width needed for my mother-in-law's walker to get through to the bathroom. This saved me from replacing the whole door frame and door.

Expandable hinges

These are the best thing for doors when you have a person in a wheelchair. The averge door is not wide enough but with these hinges it gives you just that little bit of extra space you need

mostly easy to assemble, I had to repurpose a 4 hole existing hinge to this 3 hole one. Achieved what it needed, opens the door wider.

These door hinges were exactly what we needed to enable our bedroom door to open flat to the wall...

These door hinges were exactly what we needed to enable our bedroom door to open flat to the wall. That gave us an extra two inches of door width to make driving a motorized wheelchair in and out with ease. And because the hinges are so sturdy we were able to use just one pair instead of the three lighter hinges originally there.

The installation on a prejudge door was a bit tricky. The instructions were minimal and didn’t explain how the hinge should be positioned. Once installed it works great and gives me 2 extra inches in the doorway. Wish it had 3 hinges in a package.
