While getting out the old faucet was difficult, installing the new one was a breeze. Actually took only a few minutes. It is a big improvement over our 30+ year old Moen that had not been treated all that well. We are very pleased with the faucet.
This one is not as good as the one it replaced. Same make and model, but has a hidden restriction on hot side that I can't understand. I'm hoping a plumber can fix it.
This unit replaced an identical faucet that worked well for my past needs. My previous unit was stainless steel and only chrome is now available. Other than that, I am happy. Apparently this model is being discontinued so if I outlive this new faucet, I will have to replace the sink too in the future.
Last of the 3 hole kitchen faucets with spray nozzle and a MOEN. Experience has taught to purchase quality name brand products. They work as specified and the company stands behind the warranty. The Home Depot supplies products that most others make no effort to locate for the consumer. Ordering, great order updating, and delivery are why I shop here.
Kitched sink faucet
All is good except the washer for the sprayer hose is loose and had to be glued to stay down. Also the sprayer is short which was mentioned in other reviews. Overall a good product at a good price and was in-stock and timely delivered. First time using build.com and very satisfied with the company. I would recommend this site to anyone.

The flow rate is low (1.5 gpm). And the sprayer hoses suck! The water supply hose sticking out of the base of the faucet that is then connected to the sprayer hose used to be a braided flex line on the previous version of the Moen Chateau faucet. That's why I ordered a new Moen Chateau faucet this time. I thought I was getting an exact replacement, which would have been excellent. But instead I got the new version, which has a cheap, solid plastic water supply hose sticking out of the base of the faucet. This hose bends and kinks easily if you try to hose off anything (like a mess on the counter) that requires you to extend the sprayer just a little bit past the sink! When it kinks, you lose all water flow. It's total BS! I wish I would've known this information before I spent $135 to have a plumber install it.

This was recommended to use with a water filter I was buying. After weeks of trying to reach their help they told me it would not work. This was after spending weeks trying to reach their help about getting a base plate that did not have a hole in it. Seems cheap.
2nd Generation Purchase
Bought this to replace the last version of this faucet. Last one lasted decades, so hope this one does as well. Improvements to this faucet was the braided flex lines (instead of hard copper) and the new mounting system that allows you to use a screwdriver to get the last bit of tightening. Trying to get the wrench into that awkward spot has always been a big frustration, so this was a nice surprise. So far all is well, and price was also very competitive.

I thought that Id clarify some issues about this faucet. This faucet comes with 3/8 hot & cold water lines, so if your house has 1/2 inch lines coming out out the wall, youll need two adapters and a bag of rubber cone washers. Also, you wont need a special tool to tighten the large nut that secures the faucet to the sink. You tighten the large nut with your fingers, then use a screw driver to tighten 3 screws that run through the side of the nut. Hope this helps. It was harder removing the old faucet than installing the new one.

This Moen faucet was purchased as a replacement for an older unit. The local big box home improvement center were $15.00+ more than this same unit from Home Essentials Direct. Same high quality, but at a lower price. Important for DYI people. Was easy to install with clear instructions. Between purchasing and DYI installation I save $160.00. CAN'T BEAT IT!!

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right kitchen sink for my home?
Consider the size of your kitchen, the sink material (stainless steel, ceramic, composite), and whether you prefer a single or double basin.
What are the benefits of a single vs. a double kitchen sink?
Single basins offer more space for large dishes, while double basins allow for multi-tasking, such as washing and rinsing simultaneously.
How can I maintain my stainless steel sink to keep it looking new?
Clean regularly with mild detergent, avoid harsh chemicals, and use a soft sponge to prevent scratches. Dry after use to prevent water spots.
