Best butter dish!!! Very well made and easy to use. Wished it had different colors or came in a glass option.

Love the butter keeper

We love the butter keeper! Easy to clean and with the clear cover, we can easily see how much butter you have. I love the measurement guide so that you can cut 1 tablespoon of butter, etc. Love the product!

Butter dish

Butter dish is sturdy with well fitting lid. The blue measurement lines stayed on thru pre-use dishwasher cleaning, but came off when butter was put on dish. Still usable without markings!

Nice but hard to get the lid off.

The lid is hard to remove so I am sometimes having the butter hit the counter. Hopefully with use it will loosen up a bit. Love that the measurements are marked on the bottom of the dish.

Just right

Lightweight but solid. The cleat top lets you see how much butter is left. Easy to open but stays snug when closed. Works great on the counter or in the fridge.surface holds up to cutting cold butter. The measurement marks can be helpful.

Great single stick plastic butter holder with snug enough lid

I have had one of these for many years and I am ordering 2 more. I think the best feature is the raised flat surface where the butter sits rather than being down a little with sides which make it harder for a clean slice. Almost all of the other ones with a clearish lid (my preference) sit down a little. The cover is great and snug enough to stay on, but easy enough to open. I don't/haven't tried to open it with wet hands because I wouldn't do it that way. I do rinse and dry my hands often though when I cook. I leave this on my counter and do not refrigerate it.

Nicely size butter keeper

Very nice butter dish…. Like that it has a built in measure for the butter….lid fits very snugly… a little difficult to get lid off. Hopefully, with more use, it will become easier. Would recommend!

Worth the cost

I wanted a light weight, see-through butter keeper. It didn't cost too much. The only thing I wish it had is a small lift around the edges to keep melts butter frosting m going over edge.

It's a good one

Lightweight. When lid is on you can lift the butter dish by the lid. Butter seems to stay in place on surface..doesn't slide. This is a keeper.

Great product.

Great for use indicated, measuring butter for cooking. Seal on cover is tight and easily removed. Some reviews stated "impossible to get cover off without dropping butter" I have not found this issue. From day 1 I have been able to remove cover pulling up on either end. My only suggestion, this should hold 2 sticks.

Great plastic butter dish!!! :)

We really like this butter dish!!! :) Our last one was glass, which broke. It was hard to find a plastic one, which I am glad Big Lots had it. When we open it we put one finger on half circle part, and pull up on the lid with the other hand.

Nice but....

I like the idea of the measurements and the see-thru lid, but I absolutely hate how hard it is to open the lid. Nice seal, but it takes two hands to open and twice my butter went flying because it is so hard to open. I don't like it.

The finish is flaking off!

Before I even used this for a month I noticed that the finish/paint was chipping and pealing off. This is happening where the butter sits so therefore I can't use it unless I want chips of whatever it is in my butter! Could be due to putting it in the dishwasher??? Either way it's got to go.
