Great but does it dim?
I received this as a gift. And I love it for crafts however while working ( on my computers for my job )I need a little light and was wondering if this is dimmable. I think I purchased the wrong one. I needed something with more options
Great little lamp!
We bought this lamp for an archaeology lab. We've been using it to pick through soil samples and find tiny bits of charcoal, and it works perfectly. Will probably get another!
I love this lamp. The light light makes it nice to compare colors for the hobby i have.
Great magnifying light
Very disappointed!
I own many versions of Ottlite. Eight, in fact. I’ve had some for years. I’ve had this desk lamp for less than a year. The bulb went out so now I have very large paperweight with an attached magnifying lens. Not happy at all. Definitely not worth what I paid. Won’t be recommending to others.
Can't replace bulbs DO NOT BUY
This is disgusting and a waste of plastic. You can not replace the bulb. Mine has burnt out and I am not the owner of a 70.00 dollar paper weight. This is so irresponsible to both the customer and the planet.
This is a very bright light so it will be very helpful on my sewing desk. The arm lowers down so you can use the magnifier for close reading or work.

Great lamp but not worth $70
I love the light and the magnifier. It travels well to retreats and workshops. BUT each of the joints has a plastic screw that does not hold the tightness so the magnifier head is always drooping. This is not the first time I've seen Ott cut corners. I'm less and less impressed with the quality for the money.
OttLite with magnifier
I'm getting older and my eye sight is not what it used to be. I've seen other magnifying lamps and they just didn't seem to make much difference but this one is so much better it's made a big difference in what I do (alot of soldering on small components. Well worth the money
