It's all in the details
Wanted to point out a couple features in the attached photographs that help people understand what they are buying. Schonbek goes above and beyond with "detail" and they patent nearly every item in their line to protect their innovated inventions. In the glass arm portion of the business, Schonbek has many inventions that ensure that the crystals stay intact, the glass won't break, the joining areas of the crystal components won't chip. They use locking arm patents to ensure the arms stay put, they use crystal pinning patents to ensure the crystals are hung properly, safely and straight, they use silk in their arms to avoid seeing an unsightly wire. These points are true to "every" glass arm product in the Schonbek line...Please see images for more details....

So pretty and shiny. I love the crystals. Very elegant.
Expensive for amount of work
Arrived broken. Glass on center column was broken in the shrink wrap and therefore not obvious at first glance until you remove it from the shrink wrap. Also this chandelier needs an electrician to assemble since the arms must be wired to the center column.
Can't live without this chandelier
This is a fantastic chandelier. I purchased my Arlington Schonbek chandelier when I built my home in 2004. Having just recently sold my home..it was the first item that we took down before listing our home so it come with us to our new home. One of my priced possessions!

I have this item in my kitchen and would be great in a small dinning room or even a master bathroom. It is used everyday for dinning, can be dimmed or used with full light for reading and doing homework at kitchen table. Beautiful well built product.
