Defect

Once I removed the contents from the box and sat everything out neat to begin assembling, I was suddenly disappointed because I got to object letter A and realized it was broken/ cracked at the corner. I do not want a replacement at this time. I do not want to wait again for a long period of time for another that may or may not be damaged as well.

Don’t do it!!!!

I got the desk and everything was packaged together. No protection between the wood pieces other than the hardware in plastic bags. And hollow plastic legs. 😳. The particle board is very thin and broke before I could assemble it. Even after all was put together….. not very sturdy and no support pieces that work. So I added actual 3/4 plywood piece. To the top sides and bottom back and it’s lots better but still very flimsy and can’t hold much weight for sure. Definitely not recommended

I picked up the box in store. It was slightly mangled and when I opened it there was a small chip on one of the boards but nothing that would make me drive to the store to return and exchange a desk for which I paid under $40.

Item received with scratches on wood boards.

Shipping was fast; however upon opening the item, I noticed scratches on two of the wood pieces. I have reached out to Walmart/manufacturer about getting these pieces replaced. I haven’t received any responses so I will be returning the item back to Walmart. Too bad. I was so excited to start using it.

Idiot Proof Assembly

Everything is labeled well. Easy to follow instructions. Don't use a drill, you'll overtighten the particle board. I used a screwdriver and everything is tight and sturdy. Pay attention to the holes on the top. I made a mistake at step 2 but didn't know it until step 7. LOL. It was easy to fix because it uses cam-lock nuts. It is a simple little desk and definitely the right price.

Cute small desk

I love the small size. It fits perfectly in my "She Shed". I appreciate the shelves as they provide that extra space close by for the items I use regularly.

Read description and weight limits carefully.

I did not read carefully the description. I was most interested in the size and that was what I focused on. It is definitely made for a small laptop and not a larger laptop and printer. For a childs desk or just a laptop it would be fine. I put it in my grandkids room and got a more substantial desk for my purposes. My bad

Deskapade!

As a person that has been working from home at the kitchen table I needed to move my work laptop and extra monitor. I really like this desk. It wasn't hard to assemble and I'm a female. It took a little longer than the estimated time but it wasn't hard to do. I love the side shelf storages. The only thing I felt it needed was a little bit of a wider area for the laptop. I'm making it work but I felt it could of been longer or wider.

The quality is pretty much what I expected for the price. It's not top notch, but it works great to get my work station off of the floor (which was what I was doing before I ordered this desk). The material is sturdy enough and the size is perfect for me. It has a large enough surface for my laptop with a little room on the sides, and enough room for my kind of big printer to fit on the top shelf. My stapler tucks around the corner of the little divider on the top and my paperwork and suppliers fot on the shelves. It's not the sturdiest, but my printer is stable on the too shelf printing or with the tip lifted to scan. All around it's perfect for what I needed.

The desk came during the expected delivery time. Pick up was easy at my local Home Depot. The desk was easy to assemble. I was very proud of putting it together all by myself. Yay! The size is perfect for the space I needed it for. The desk top is adequate for my laptop and even space for a small writing tablet to take notes. I very much like the color. It goes with the trim on the accent chair nearby. I liked that it had shelves that I could display things on. Right now I have a lamp on the top shelf. Still planning on what I want for the other shelves. I liked the desk so much that I decided to order the Furinno open book case to stand adjacent to it.
