Great unit! Weak inadequate sealing tape supplied.

Love my new Profile A/C! It's so much quieter than the old window unit I had. The instruction were a little confusing. And the foam sealing tape is definitely weak & inadequate.

DO NOT BUY!!!

Bought A/C a little over a year ago, and it has stopped working twice. First time that stopped working was after 5 months of purchase, and now it happened again. Calling GE for warranty service is just horrible and if no help. Don’t waste your money on this item.

DO NOT BUY THIS AIR CONDITIONER. I bought one last year and after 4 months of use, it had an error code E-14. GE does not send someone to fix this item because the "parts cost more than to replace it" so I had to purchase another one and wait 8-12 weeks for GE to refund me. Since it was October, I didn't install the AC. Fast forward to today, I installed the new one mid-April, and it again has an error code aka is broken after 3 and a half months. Such a waste of time and money, steer clear of this unit at all costs.

Great Window Unit

Very cool and quiet!

We’ve only had this for a few days, but we love it. I set it to cool on the first day, but on the second day I powered it up and the default setting was eco so I left it there. It keeps my living room, dining room and kitchen so cool in this 90 degree heat! It is also so quiet! So glad I made this purchase, well worth the extra money!!

Works great very good for the money

Works great at first, then NOT!

It quit cooling after just 16 months of light use. The compressor is running. It sounds normal. All other functions are good. It just does not blow cold air. lt just blows! I do not recommend this product. It's expensive and unreliable. It should have lasted 8 - 10 years or more easily. It didn't even make it to 1-1/2. I am very angry about this!

Would definitely buy this product again

The A/C unit has been installed for a week. It has performed really well, cools great. Holds a constant preset temp of 74 degrees without any problem with outdoor temp of over 100 degrees. Very happy with the unit.

It was great until the screeching started.

Product worked great for about two weeks. Super quiet, super cold. Then it started randomly making a screeching sound. Sounded like a bearing going out. Happened in fan only mode as well as ac mode. Nothing is built to last anymore.

Loud

I'm not sure why this states it's quite. It starts off great, normal AC sound. Then, an hour or two later it is louder than heck and doesn't stop. Silent mode is just as loud. It was so loud that when I was on a work call they said they couldn't hear me over it and I was at least 30-40 feet away from it. Ended up returning it and bought a Midea for half the price and it works amazingly.

Just have 2 months intall and don’t start . Power are good but no power in the unit .

Great product at a great price. Fast shipping. Online purchase was simple and easy. My energy provider offered a rebate for purchasing something like this but I needed a receipt that I didn’t have since I bought it online. Customer support was awesome had me an invoice in no time.

Love the quietness of this unit. My old unit was so noisy. Love the fact that it adjust to room temperature.

Second One Died of E14 ERROR. DO NOT BUY

First one died after 3 months with E14 Error. Second one installed at end of summer and died less than a year later. It was used literally for about 3 months as only live part time in the apartment. So the second died of same E14 Error. when it works its super silent, great. BUT to add insult to injury it costs me $250 charged by my coop building to remove old one and install new one. DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!!
