Handle rusting badly after less than 2 years

The claimed "high-quality metal" appears to apply to the nozzle itself, but certainly does not include the handle. After less than 2 years of light use, the paint on the handle has peeled off and the cheap metal underneath is rusting badly. Yet another example of "you get what you pay for." When I have to replace this, it will be with the old-fashioned solid-brass twisting nozzle - the only type of hose nozzle that I have found to be durable.

This is the BEST nozzle I have found. Gilmour is quality! I like the weight of it and the ability to change spray patterns.

Nice product, delivers on promise, better than others for directional spray

When I bought two of these spray nozzles the reason I chose them was that they were the ONLY ones that had the standard male hose thread on the end. I use this type to attach a pre-filter and water conditioner to refill our hot tub. NONE of the other spray nozzles in the store had this threaded end. These are adequate - no leaks so far - but the construction is all metal which means that if the water in the hose has been heated by the sun the metal will become hot and uncomfortable. The same for cold water coming through the hose because there is no rubber coating or cushioning like on most of the other nozzles in the store. I would ask that Home Depot carry at least one other cushioned nozzle that has a standard hose thread at the end.

This style is much more durable than the ones that have a plastic type handle and lower priced. You can drop this all day long and it want break compared to plastic handle ones.

Great price, doesn't leak when handle closed, easy to use, good stream pressure.

I have gone through so many of those garden hose heads or sprays made out of plastic. I hope this last longer than those. Decided to get this because it is not made of plastic and has very basic setting. It works like a charm. and it is much cheaper that those Chinese knockoff plastic stuff that is so fragile

I wanted a nozzle that could provide a spray or stream using one hand, no adjusting or turning of nozzle head, etc. This is it! Simply squeez the handle grip to achieve the water pattern needed. Fills the need I had at a good price.

Always good to find this water nozzle all metal, no plastic, and made in America.

Tired of buying plastic nozzles. This works so much better.

Functional, missing real brass parts, cheaply made. Works ok but just does not seem to have the same adjustability difficulty to spray fine mist. Yes it does go from a mist to a jet steream but difficult to maintain.

Not made in USA Not the same quality as my older one that was over 15 years old.

This is the best gun i use for washing the cars it builds excellent pressure and stream to knock dirt off versus the selector guns with mist or shower settings those arr good for the garden

I have bought so many other expensive water nozzles which...

I have bought so many other expensive water nozzles which always stop working. But the only one that still works the best for over 6 yrs is this one. So I purchased 2 more for all my hoses.

Decent Chinese nozzle

I shopped for USA made nozzles. Their website claimed they still make products in the states. My wife did the curbside pickup on this and it is made in China.

Simple and good

This nozzle is much better than the more expensive "fancy" kind because it's so simple that nothing can go wrong with it. It's all metal so will last forever.

Great Inespensive Option

This is good for a strong spare spray for cleaning. It goes from a softer wide spread stream when lightly squeezed to a strong narrow stream when fuller depressed. You could water plants with it but need to be very careful not to squeeze to hard. It's more ideal from spraying down deck or car or something you want to clean off. Works great for a cheap.
