Grey King Bed Review

The bed is easy to assemble and parts are good quality and good delivery . The design of the middle mattress supports is wrong .If you slide the assembled mattress and bed ,the middle support legs break off and then no more middle supports . I had to create my own middle leg design to compensate for this flaw in the design . There legs have a short screw in the middle that does allow sideways movement when the bed is moved . I had to create a similar type of leg but with an H design to gain lateral support too. The bed should have a visual warning sticker that says do not move the bed with the weight of the mattress on the middle supports .

Excellent Quality

The bed frame arrived today, 1 day early. Very well packaged in multiple boxes with reinforced cardboard protecting edges and corners along with styrofoam packaging. Everything was in perfect condition, not a single scratch or blemish. The quality is fantastic! My 12 year old son had the drawers assembled before I came to help. Plenty of extra hardware is included which we didn’t need but appreciated. I love this bed, it looks great and is very solid and sturdy. I was a little concerned about wood slats being sturdy enough before ordering but I’m very pleased and it’s plenty strong and study. The middle wood supports/legs under the center of the wood slats are screwed to the wood slats directly, and the wood slats get screwed into the inside edge of the grey frame so nothing moves at all. The two drawers have wheels and are completely independent from the frame which I love. No worrying about items falling behind a drawer on a track. I would highly recommend this bed frame!!

Very pleased with this purchase. The bed is beautiful and very sturdy. Putting the bed together was also pretty simple with minimal pieces and very clear instructions. The only reason I'm only giving 4 stars is because I was missing some hardware. There was supposed to be a bag of 30 wood screws included with the slats, but they weren't there. I did not contact customer service though, it was quicker just to go buy a pack of screws. Overall great purchase though.

Floating Drawers

It was easy to assemble, sturdy and looks great. The con for me is the drawers aren't attached to the frame but has short wheels that just roll in and out, got to watch out the drawer face corners don't nick each other. I have thick carpet, and so we'll need to install drawer pulls so we don't end up busting the drawer face off trying to pull it open from the top. Would have been nice to know these drawers weren't attached. The wheels, I thought, were for extra support since these drawers are large, and if they were bigger it wouldn't be so hard to pull it open on the carpet.
