This rug is pretty thick. Thicker than photos portray it to be. Also, in person, it's darker than I thought it would be. My photo was taken before returning. Beautiful rug, but didn't work for my space.

Love this color and the texture! Definitely feels very high quality.
We love this in our foyer entryway. Thick and beautiful.
Gorgeous. Excellent quality. The cotton backing keeps it from leaving debris under the rug and I haven’t noticed any shedding. I have this in a low traffic dining room.
Love this rug! Nice and thick, very rich looking in my Living room! Worth the money.
LOVE this rug! Just a little thicker than expected, but we were able to fix that with some rug tape ).
Beautiful chunky rug!! I love the simplicity of it. It's softer than the wool rug I had in my living room. That said, it is natural fibers and my husband found with his bare foot, a little "stick" that was braided in. But he survived and the rug is stunning. Has a nice cotton (?) backing. Again... Very thick.
This rug is a great accent to our kitchen! It is a bit thicker than most rugs so be sure it will not need clearance under a door. Durable and great mix of browns with a touch of grey.
We ordered 2. One inside busy front door, and one in half bath. Both have held up well, and we've had them for some time now. Vacuum easily, no fraying or break down of fibers. Firmly woven. Not soft, but not hard on bare feet either.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I choose the right size rug for my living room?
Aim for a rug that fits all the main furniture pieces on it or at least the front legs of sofas and chairs to anchor the space.
Can I layer rugs for added texture and interest?
Absolutely, layering rugs can add depth and dimension. Pair a larger, neutral rug with a smaller, patterned rug for the best effect.
What's the best way to clean and maintain my rug?
Vacuum regularly, spot clean spills immediately, and consider professional cleaning for deep stains or at least annually for high-traffic rugs.
How does rug size impact the balance of my living room?
A rug that extends the full length of the sofa can help balance the room. A small rug can make the sofa look disproportionately large.
What should I consider when positioning rugs in relation to doors and furniture?
Ensure the rug doesn't obstruct doorways or get caught on the doors. It should also not interfere with the operation of any cabinets or cupboards that open into the room.
Are there practical tips for maintaining rugs and prolonging their appearance?
Rotate your rugs annually to even out wear and fade, and address spills or flattening promptly to maintain their look and feel. For more substantial size or shape adjustments, consider having rugs cut and edged professionally.
What are some considerations for choosing a rug in relation to the sofa?
Select a rug large enough to cover the area beneath the entire sofa, which helps in unifying the space and balancing the room's proportions.
What is the recommended rug size for a living room with a sectional sofa?
The rug should not be shorter than the length of the sofa and should be wide enough to fit under all pieces of a sectional, or at least allow for the front legs to be on the rug.
Can I use a round rug with a rectangular table?
Generally, it's best to match the shape of the rug with the table. Therefore, avoid pairing a round rug with a rectangular table and vice versa for visual harmony.
