As expected - does the trick!
As pictured! We haven't tried to sit on the bench, but it's certainly sturdy enough to hold our bags, shoes, coats, etc.

Very nice piece that is both rustic and elegant in its simplicity. Fits nicely in the corner of our living room, and friends love it . Easy to assemble, good instructions, and real wood!
Make sure you measure for height for your space
Super easy to put together and it seems to hold a decent weight as my teenager has sat on it to put his shoes on. I will say that I thought it was going to be taller but all in all it's great to clean up the space I had by my door.

Make sure to check the height. The picture makes it look larger than it is. Obviously if I would have read the dimensions I would have known. Easy to put together and good for the price!

Fits great in our hallway, easy to put together. One screw hole was not lined up perfectly and needed to be widened slightly, but otherwise great. I would recommend this!
