Great Protective Throw

Works well repelling liquid. Our new puppy leaks sometimes when she gets overly excited. Liquid just pools up making it easy to clean and protect the couch. It's also soft if wanting to use it as a blanket. Just FYI it's thin materal.

We put this blanket on our sofa, on our dog’s bed, in our car, on the floor under my desk… anywhere our dog will hang out. It’s waterproof and easy to clean in the laundry. She sees it and knows she can rest in those spaces. It has survived for several years.

My dog loves it and I love it

I bought two, the cream and the pink. both are gorgeous. You can't tell that they are lined with waterproof material. they just look like luxury throws and feel like it too. I'm going to get another one for myself for my sofa.

Very nice blanket

This blanket is large and very soft. My dog loves it! I am glad that it is waterproof as it has protected the dog bed a couple of times already. My dog is older and can't always hold her urine during the night. Overall, this is a very good blanket, and I will most likely order a second one.

I purchased two of these to save my bedding from my cats love of gifting me hairballs on the bed. They really stood up to the liquid and washed out easily. Even the white stayed clean and stain free with washing. They are so cozy and soft I use the other as a throw for myself.

Absolutely love this blanket. On the rare occasions my cats would end up coughing up hairballs on the bed, it would always be on the end of it. Bought this blanket to lay folded in half on the end of my Queen bed and it's perfect. I've had it for a while now and it's survived numerous washes and claws. There have been some loose threads over time, but overall, it's holding up VERY well.

I love these. I have ordered 4 now. I got the first two on a really good sale so I thought I would try them. I really did not think they would be waterproof but they actually are. I got them mainly to keep them on my bed so when my dogs are on there I can keep my comforter clean. I mean I tell the dogs not to get on the bed but you know lol. They don’t listen. I have a dog who had a surgery that resulted in her leaking urine if she doesn’t empty her bladder. As long as she goes potty no issues. But occasionally she might leak and all I have to do is just throw these in the wash and it keeps my bedding protected.

I bought this for my 16 year old mini poodle who has had a few accidents in the bed. I was hesitant but, decided to try it out instead of washing sheets, comforter and mattress waterproof pad.

Keeps sheets dry from ALL liquids.

I'll be honest: I didn't buy this for my dog (I don't even have a dog). I bought it for me. Ya see, when things get a little hot and heavy in the bedroom, I would usually use towels to prevent my sheets from getting wet, but they move around too much and/or are not absorbent enough. A waterproof blanket of this size from an adult store is easily $100 (for who knows what reason). I decided to cheat the system and get this bad boy instead, and HOLY COW, NO RAGRETS (not even a letter). Right out of the package, the blanket was extremely plush and soft and I used it as a regular blanket for a good, long while. However, when it's true time came, it did not disappoint. My sheets have never been drier, and after many, many uses and several wash cycles, it is still as soft and absorbent as ever. I love this blanket and plan to buy more in the future.

Soft and nice but too slippery for a couch cover

The material was nice, the presentation beautiful, but is not functional to stay on the couch without it slipping and not staying put on thslippery.

Best Pet's Blanket

I got a new puppy and was at a loss as how to handle the new job of training since we had finished training our little morkie months ago. I decided I needed a blanket on the carpet for her to be comfortable on since she couldn't get on the furniture until she was bigger, and was hoping this would be her comfy blanket when she was outside her doggy playpen area. She loved it from day one. When she had an accident, there was no problem and it saved our carpet. I also got one for the bed. No one would ever know they were pet blankets, and they are also good for spills. They wash beautifully and still hold the waterproof consistency. I love them, and she also loves to chew on things and has chewed another thinner blanket through with her teething, but has not done it with this one. It is well worth the money.

almost perfect

though this blanket is made for pets, i purchased it for a family member. after i purchased a waterproof mattress cover, i searched for a waterproof blanket to tuck into the couch. (covers do not usually fit our couch) i didn't see any other options on qvc, actually. so i went with this. upon recieving, i wondered if it would stand up to the test. and it did! this throw blanket saved my furniture and so i purchased 2 more to basically protect our couch cushions. my only reason for rating 4 stars instead of 5 is that i did notice a very small amount of moisture under the blanket after one particular accident. but overall, i am impressed with its quality. washed on their own. gentle cycle, low tumble dry. very comfortable to use as a throw.

Just What I Was Looking For!

This is a LARGE attractive blanket that serves a much needed function. I always have several dogs at one time, and usually one or more are elderly. They often have had bathroom issues when they reached twilight years. In the past I've used waterproof crib pads (often too small) and plastic mattress covers. This blanket will make for fast cleanup by tossing it into the washer without having to change the complete bedding. ***Please know that that blanket itself will get wet, but it won't soak through. The fleece side beads water up for a bit, but will eventually soak in. The sherpa soaks water in quickly. The description states flannel, but it is so soft and velvety that I'd say it more resembles a high quality fleece. The other side is a soft and fluffy sherpa. Also, there is no rustling sound or stiffness from the waterproofing material inside. I did wash the item on gentle/cold and used the low dryer setting. I was pleasantly surprised to find no lint in the dryer. I chose the pink and it is a pretty pale rose color. (I have male dogs, but they won't mind!) Bought one to try it first, but will definitely purchase another for an immediate switch out when cleanup is needed. Very pleased.

Klean Komfort for Kitty

2nd review of item Generously -sized super-soft pet blanket that actually is waterproof. My elderly cat sleeps with me and occasionally has accidents. Since putting this blanket on the bed, my comforter has been spared. I bought a 2nd one to use while the other is in the laundry. The only drawback I've found is the drying time required if I use low heat. I had run it through 4 drying cycles and still had one significant wet spot. I took a chance and bumped the setting up to medium heat and have had no further problems. Of course this could very well be a difference in dryer make and model, so use caution if not following manufactuer's instructions exactly. Blanket has been washed and dried several times and comes out just as if it were new.

Kozy Komfort for Kitty

I have a 15 year old cat who frequently throws up and does not get to litter box in time. When I saw the ad for this waterproof blanket, I knew I had to have one. i forgot to mention the cat sleeps with me. I ordered the blanket and waited for it to arrive. It came just in time because that night my cat threw up and pooped on the blanket. I cleaned up what I could with paper towels and then put blanket into the washer. Per instructions from seller, I used cold wash/cold rinse on gentle cycle, low heat. The only complaint I have is the amount of time it takes to get blanket dry and back on the bed. That 1st laundering I used 4 delicate cycles and still had a large wet spot. Finally I switched to medium heat for 12 minutes. When the alert sounded my blanket was dry, soft, and stain- free. Each time I wash it, I tweak the instructions a little bit and have not had any more frustration. The stains have all gone away. My cat seems to like the soft, suede-like side of the blanket but will also sleep on the sherpa side. Both of us recommend this blanket.
