This is a gorgeous rug. The colors are brilliant. What I like particularly in the design is the multi colors presented sage green, blue, tan, so it allows the rug to have a soft eye appeal, and blend with drapes and furniture in an interesting way. I would highly recommend this brand and rug. PS. It is very soft underneath the feet.

Color review

So disappointed in the color. Ordered Red/ Blue. Received orange/and other pastel colors.

Not a good purchase!

I bought this rug and it looks exactly like it does in the picture. It's a lovely and thick rug, HOWEVER, it sheds a lot. The filter of my vacuum cleaner gets full in seconds. I hate that I have to vacuum it so often and the shedding doesn't seem to be going away. I have been using the rug for 6months now.

Beautiful rug that is very transisioal

I have searched for the perfect green area rug of good quality for a long time. I ended up returning most of them. But, finally this one turned out to be exactly what I was looking for. It's nice and thick, so it can be vacuumed without bunches up. It laid nice and flat right away. The colors are not quite as dark as the picture shows, but does have beautiful coIor. Ihave an orange living room chair, a beige sofa and olive curtains. This rug goes perfectly!

Sheds non stop and makes the entire house a mess

We bought two of these rugs in different colors and they shed non stop!!!! Even after 3 months of active vacuuming and airing them out, our house is constantly covered in lint. It looks so bad and walking on it makes your socks completly covered in carpet lint. We ruined 3 of our vacuum filters and now need to get a new vacuum because of this rugs. So disappoint3ed in Safavieh and I wish we could return these terrible rugs and get the money back. Don't waste your money and time thinking they will stop sheeding and smeeling horrible.

This area rug chimed in with the warm color pallet of my newly re-floored living room perfectly. This is the third Safavieh rug I have purchased this past month, since remodeling. These appear to be an excellent value--thick, 100% wool, with rich patterning. Only time will tell how well they wear but at this price point, it seems highly unlikely I will ever regret the choice! I will seek out the Safavieh brand going forward whenever I need an area rug.

Gorgeous but sheds!

This rug is very beautiful and appears to be well made. It's got a sturdy feel and is very plush. The only downside is that it sheds excessively! I've had it for over 6 months and I still cannot vaccuum it with my Dyson stick for more than a few seconds without it clogging up. That whole "never loses suction" bit is out the window. It's very annoying. The fibers form fuzz balls that drift all over the hard floors. If it didn't do this I would be happy to give it 5 stars.

Beware - Rugs Direct did not price match

My fault for not searching other sites and lesson learned that Rugs Direct does not price match once the order is placed. (unsure if they will price match before order is placed). I ordered two of these rugs only to discover that they are available for hundreds less on Bed Bath and Beyond right now. The only option per customer service is to pack up the rugs and ship them back. Even with the return shipping deduction from my refund, the price on Bed Bath and Beyond is the same. Fortunately I checked BBB before purchasing the larger matching rectangular rug, which is hundreds less than Rugs Direct. November 24, 2023

Safavieh Heritage Navy / Ivory Border Floral Medallion Rug is awesome very detailed styling. I had ordered several rugs in the past, after doing some research I found out a wool rug with cotton backing is safe for not staining vinyl floor planking. The colors are better than the picture thinking of buying a runner for the hallway if your looking for a quality rug this is the one and there are different colors to choose from.

Wrong rug was sent.

I would have been delighted had I received the rug you picture, but I did not. It is not the rug that I ordered that arrived. It is predominantly red, with no navy, and does not tie in with my other rug (11'x15' navy) that I purchased from you recently. How am I to get such a heavy rug somewhere to have it packaged and returned? I had to hire someone to come and open it and lay it on the floor, and you can imagine my dismay when I saw it. Please have someone from your company contact me to let me know what I can do about this. I have done business with you many times and I know you would want to put this right. Thank you.
