one hour assembly

this bed was pretty easy to assemble. i did it in one hour with 2 glasses of wine. i would suggest putting the rug down first if you are going to have a rug under the bed due to the placement of the bed rails

Very very solid construction. This bed is the most straightforward piece of furniture I've ever assembled. (32-year-old woman, data analyst, not carpenter, lol) I think there are four steps. It's such a lovely bed; it's one of those pieces of furniture that you can pair with anything! Forever! It's timeless! There is still room under my bed for vacuum-sealed storage bags. You can see the grain of the wood peeking through under the white. The bed is wood, not solid white MFD material. One thing I did have trouble with was getting the headboard up the stairs!! I never would've thought that'd be an issue. I do have a king-size headboard and a small row home. Still, make sure you measure. I ended up taking off one of the posts/legs for the headboard-it was super easy and super easy to put it back together again. I can't believe what a solid, beautiful structure it ended up being, especially for a piece of furniture I had to assemble. Shipping wasn't too long a wait (the order arrived approximately two weeks later).
