NOT an expensive lamp.

I'm not sure whether to keep this lamp. It's for outside on our back porch. The quality is pitiful. The only thing holding the lamp brackets onto the pole are clear silicone elastics. See in the photo above and below the brackets. They are also used as "cord keepers" further down the pole. There is no attempt to disguise them, or have them sit in grooves. They are just there in their silicone-ness for all to see. How long will the elastics last before they break or stretch out?? This is a *** lamp. I gave it two stars because it is a "floor lamp with adjustable lights". My bad for not examining it closer in the picture. I had no reviews to go by.
