Toe tap is faulty

Our toe tap drain cover fell apart after one month of use (@30 uses). The 90 day warranty didn't apply since we bought it during the Marshall Fire rebuild process (March) but didn't move in and use it until October. That is really bad form on the part of the Jacuzzi company.

Looks Nice But Is Your Typical Sub-Par Quality

We installed this two years ago in our main bath. My wife and I are empty nesters so its only been used a few times. The mechanism that allows it to latch shut has just broken. It has a decent finish on it but the internal part is plastic. I don't understand the concept of building something that will not withstand at least a few years of daily use. This was not cheap so why use a $.10 part inside.

Pop up mechanism

The toe tap pop up mechanism stopped working after 11 months.

Works right and looks great.

This product operates like it should and looks great with our new Jacuzzi tub. The push button stopper is simple and effective. I think other products had problems with the cable driven approach. There was one major problem during the install. I couldn’t get tub to stop leaking at the drain hole. Eventually, I figured out that the fiberglass was not sanded evenly. One side of the drain hole was 1/8 of an inch thicker than the other and not flat. Jacuzzi came out and fixed it. However this was a major source of frustration and delay. This is not a negative comment against the drain assembly of course, however, I mention it here because you should check the flatness of the surface that it is mated to before you start.
