This chair is beautiful and glamorous. The quality is great; it's been a great addition to my living room.

Beautiful in person. The velvet is a true black and it does not have an overly shiny finish like the cheap inferior velvet. The gold hardware is very sturdy and a true shiny gold finish, not a brassy finish. The back was a litter lower than I expected when sitting down. The cushion is also firm and sturdy. I'm happy with the purchase, my legs arrived with scratches but Overstock is helping me with it.
