Do not buy!
Arrived damaged and side board cracked while putting the bed together, with the allen wrench.
The gray color was exactly what I was looking for- it is slightly on the darker side. Unfortunately the shipping caused some damage and tear to the upholster of the headboard. Overall though it is exactly what I was looking for in a leather bed. There was no instruction to build it, but its a very basic bed structure. The sideboards are slightly on the thin side, but aesthetically pleasing
