I wish the manufacturer include how to clean black lacquer. After I received the coffee table, I Googled it and found many suggestions, but it would have been nice to know what specifically was recommended for this table as I learned that maintenance of black lacquer is very different from the usual use of furniture polish (i.e., Pledge, etc.). Such use of improper cleaning products can ruin this table, which I didn't know beforehand. I'm still happy with the table, but I'm also daunted by maintaining its luster and not damaging it with my cleaning!
