I love them. I bought 2 and can use them as benches or put them together for a picnic table. Very easy construction. they are great.

very cheaply made. If you weigh more than 60 pounds, your going to feel like your going to fall to the ground.

I am unhappy that I spent 200.00 and didn't see when I ordered it that it was only 1 bench and you have to spend 400.00 to get the hole picnic table. If I saw that I wouldn't have ordered any of it 😕. I really loved it when I saw some one else has it not knowing it was 400.00 to get it all. Very upsetting and heartbreaking

Flexible seating for our campfire area.

Easy to assemble and light weight. Supportive bench and table. Only drawback hard to carry when assembled. Top wants to flip over and pinch your fingers.

Poor Quality for the price

Cheap plastic that won't last. If your heavy the middle will bend when you sit on it. The picture in the description is misleading, you only get half a picnic table for that price. if quality was great then it might be worth spending that much!

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. I thought I was getting a good deal on a picnic table which is what my daughter asked for. When I searched for picnic table this came up with a picture of two of these together to make a picnic table (just like the picture above) so that’s what I thought I was getting. I wrapped the box when it came in so I had no idea that it was only one bench. Now my daughter has half a picnic table. I could have bought a whole picnic table for cheaper. Just beware that you are only getting one bench for the price when you order.

Great benches and picnic table

I bought 2 so I could have a full picnic table. They went together easily. A rubber hammer is a great aid with tight pieces. I got white. Looks great but I do not understand the price difference due to color. They are very sturdy but a few pieces were slightly out of shape, nothing significant. Overall they are very good.

I bought 2 like the product details suggested to make the complete picnic table and it is great! First one took about 30 minutes to assemble and the next one 15 min. Even though white was the only color available, it is easy to clean. It is a really nice convertible bench!

End result great! Took four tries!!

It took 4 tries and returns to my local store to get two benches that were new, same color, all the pieces there to get it right. But all the frustration aside...the benches are great! Easily flip over and scoot together to make a table for 4 adults or six kiddos. Not a large table not that small either. Rest of the time the benches are seating for my side entrance patio area. Perfect!

MUST HAVE! for the yard or patio/driveway!!!!

I love everything about these benches. YES! You need to order 2 for a table. We use them both ways ALL THE TIME. They are sturdy enough that I even use it as 1/2 a table OFTEN and have never had an issue. I like to sit in my driveway and watch traffic, my Mom (who lives next door) comes over and makes one a bench, and I am usually sitting at the other as 1/2 a table. The seats are WIDE and VERY comfortable to sit on. First one took me and my 70 yr old Mom about 20 minutes to put together and the 2nd one took me about 10 minutes by myself! They are very light and take about 5 seconds to move and make a complete table which we do when we cook out or get more than a couple people in the driveway. These are the best things I have bought in a long time and are very reasonable for what you pay! I am considering buying another set as they are ALWAYS being used in the driveway. I have had mine for a few weeks now and the only day there wasn't someone sitting in the driveway is when it was raining, and even then, they get moved into the garage and they are used there..... very awesome product! A must have for any outdoor sitting area!

Excellent Product.

Very well made product. Durable PVC plastic construction. Assembles in about 15 minutes. Only 4 fasteners (included) required to assemble complete unit. Screwdriver and pliers are required to assemble.

MISLEADING!

I will say that the bench we ordered came quickly and is sturdy. However, the pictures we saw for this product on Walmart.Com made it seem like what we were buying was a bench item that converted into a picnic table with seating on both sides. That is not what we got. This product is only one HALF of that picture; it is a bench that fits about two adults side-by-side, and when converted into the "table" it is, in fact, only HALF a picnic table. It is a decent bench and half table, I only wish that the images for this product more accurately depicted that.

saves space and keeps it neat

I like this bench. I use it on my lanai where I didn't have much room. it is a bench that is nice enough with a back on the bench, and flips easily to the table for when it's time to take out the laptop or coloring books. crafts, reading or eating. wipes off easily, is easy to move around if you want to. a good thing. When friends stop over, it's extra seating.

Lasts Forever

We purchased two of these about 10 years ago. They are mostly used as a picnic table but we have used them for benches for a couple events like an outdoor wedding. We can't remember if we bought them 10 or 11 years ago. We live in northern Utah so they are stored outside under a deck during the winter but have survived extreme cold and 100 degree plus temperatures. No part have failed. They have not cracked or warped. There are a few marks that don't come off perfectly but they are still quite presentable and useful. We are preparing to purchase another set - not as a replacement but because there are times we could use the extra seating.

Convert-a-bench

I bought 2 convert-a-benches like the other reviews said. Took 30 minutes to put together the first one and 10 minutes for the second one. Not going to trust 3 adults on it, but 2 adults are fine as long as they don't bounce around. I wouldn't put more than 10 pounds on the table unless your sitting on the bench or you have the 2 put together, it will topple over if you don't. I don't know how long it will last being out in the CA sun. Only time will tell, or another reviewer who bought theirs years ago. Hinge part swings easily, it may last as long as the bench, unless the plastic pin that holds it together breaks. That is my only issue. And again only time will tell. Still I think it is a great investment.

great for front porch!

We needed seating for our front porch that doesn't take up a lot of space. These fit the bill! It's so convenient to switch from the bench to bench/table for dining and for the kids to do their crafting/coloring! And they look nice on the porch. We haven't used them as a picnic table yet, but could easily do so in the lawn right in front of the porch. Great buy! Each bench comfortably seats 3 people.

Open box deliveries!

I ordered two to make a table. Both came with packing tape at one end of box making it seem it was once opened then returned. In addition, there were no assembly instructions and screws! I probably got the worst pick of inventory b/c it's now out of stock. If you look at the same item on the other home shopping site it has TWO supports under bench, Walmart only has one so that's why it's cheaper here and possibly less stable. I'm returning asap!

easy peezy

This bench/table was very easy to put together. I would recommend a mallet or hammer to gently tap the pieces during assembly into the proper molding. This is a well manufactured product. I am a 200 lb woman no problem. It is strong and has braces which makes it a secure seating. The pvc planks are also braced inside the way it was molded. Well engineered! I bought 2. Will seat 2 large adults per bench or 3 average. I can not say enough about this bench/ table. It's exactly what I was looking for and had no idea that it existed. Rinse off with water. Low maintenance, never have to paint.

Benches VRS Table

These benches are nice. I really like being able to make a table as well as benches. Although for what I was looking for we were not able to purchase what we wanted in order to achieve our goal.

Very Happy

I've seen these Convert-a-bench before at other places for a lot of money. I did a Google search & Walmart came up the cheapest! They came within less than a week! Easy to assemble. My husband put both together in less than 30 minutes! We bought 2 in white. So far we've only used them as benches. Once the weather breaks I am excited to convert them to a picnic table & eat outside. I would recommend these to anyone who's looking for something that is more than just a bench & has multiple uses!
