Good size and weight limit

I'm too old to make multiple trips with speakers to DJ gigs. This things great. I put 2 15inch powered speakers, 1 12 inch monitor, my 4 channel dj controller in a flight case, speaker stands, bag of cables, table, and table cloth all in a single load no problem. It's the size and weight limit as the R12 but doesn't have the bigger front wheels which would likely be better on grass with all that weight. But I'm almost always going to be in concrete to this is perfect. Folds up easily and small enough to throw in the trunk or where lever there's room once all the other crap is loaded in the car.

RockNRoller Multi-Cart

I'm glad that I had this RockNRoller cart this past weekend. I had to walk a long distance from the event to my vehicle. I was able to load my entire Dj RIG, including a outdoor canopy in 1 trip.

Holds a lot and wheels smoothly

I got tired of doing multiple trips to my car so I made the plunge and purchased this. Very happy I did so. Has made my load-in/out much easier and faster. And it fits in the back of my small car! It can hold a lot of weight and with some bungee cords you can stack stuff up pretty high without anything spilling. It glides smoothly across even some pretty rough pavement.

Great product, how did I cope without one!!!

After using this product on two gigs (hotel ones which always seem to be a longer setup due to lifts and long hallways) i'm not sure how I coped before. It has made my setup and break down time so much quicker and easier on my back. I used to use a sack truck but this cart makes it easier as I can stack my subs and tops and other items straight on it without worrying about if it can take the weight. It is well built and collapses down to a smaller unit, I did find getting the handle bars up at each end a little frustrating at first but eventually found the knack of doing it. Very prompt delivery from DJKit after a false start (item they were going to ship to me was damaged). Thank you guys you are still my number one place to go for my DJ Kit.

I've had this cart for about 4 months. The cart is very flexible and the wheels roll easily on just about anything even grass. The only issue I have is the wire latch that you must use to expand the stand.

On my first gig use I realized I had made a great decision to purchase the Rock n Roller cart. The transport of a large amount of equipment with ease was efficient, time saving and a back safer. The cart is well built and easy to move, even with the full weight of the equipment. The assembly was easy and fast, in minutes I was loading it up with equipment and giving it a test run. I am already looking into purchasing another one. The guys at AMS are GREAT and the shipping was, as always, on time.

Terrific All-Around Cart

I've used a number of different carts in the past. This one beats them all. I use it 99% of the time as shown (flat-bed), but it's very versatile with a number of different configurations that you can set it up on the fly. It also stores very well, especially when transporting it. Folds down very easily. The only slight draw-back is that at times the movable wheels get caught in moderate to larger gaps in sidewalks, etc. I haven't had a problem with normal undamage sidewalks though.

Great cart!

I use this cart to haul my portable darkroom kit from my apartment to my car, car to location shoots. It handles weight very well, is easy to steer, and absorbs reasonable bumps and cracks.

As a gigging musician, as I age I’m trying to become a smarter musician. Be it a local venue or the Fillmore I need to know that all my gear is together for load in/out and staging. Road cases are overkill, but the R8 is perfect. I easily transport a 2-bass gig bag, my bass amp and extension cabinet and a large body bag. The wheel configuration is effective on a variety of surfaces and heavy loads just glide. This product will not disappoint and you will look professional using it.

I have the R10RT for at least about 7 years and I decided to get a tiny bit smaller and lighter cart so I decided to Purchase the R8RT and I did Purchase the R8RT about a month ago and this is an awesome transformer cart which will help any DJ's or Sound Engineers to transport their equipment(s) with ease, every DJ and Sound Engineers Should own one of this cart model. This cart can be used for so many different things and its very versatile and compact. Additionally, I would like to say, your back will thank you for owning either one of these carts.

You know so many times I have shown up for my gigs and there is only the front door, and the stage is way in the back. Nobody around to help move a stack, stands and the rest of the gear. Damn! So, again my friends at AMS helped me find what I needed,,,, this transformer cart I call it, lol. Never seen a cart that can be used for so many different things, believe me it can! I moved a marshall 1960 4x12 down a staircase with ease, and back up with the 10" wheels on this baby! Now, I don't always carry the 1960 to a gig, but when I go I only have to make one trip in, everything fits on the cart and it rolls smoothly from the car to the front door.

Don't know why this took so long!!

Best piece of non-musical gear I have bought. Playing some venues with long treks from the parking lot to the stage requiring multiple trips back and forth. My aging back was hurting before I picked up the sticks. This has turned four-plus trips into two. Folds up great and fits in the back of my pickup truck. Couple of my bandmates have asked to borrow it to lug their gear as well. Knowing what I know now, I would suggest to all my fellow players out there to make the investment as soon as you can, if you haven't already.

I've been playing professionally for 20 years and I am kicking myself for not purchasing one of these sonner. I'd seen several musicians on the road using them. I suppose I just got to the party late. Super rugged, ridiculously high quality and it just works. I have zero fears of it breaking. It's shocking how much this thing can haul. My back thanks me daily for this purchase. Order one of these and I promise you won't regret it.

Excellent purchase.

I have been thinking about buying a cart to move my drums for my music gigs for years, but never wanted to spend the money. Now, at sixty-four years old, my drum equipment was feeling heavier and heavier. I finally broke down and decided I would have to get a cart if I was going to continue playing gigs. The mid-sized Rock and Roller cart was the answer. It is plenty strong, good quality, and folds down to easily fit in my vehicle along with my drums. Now, I can fit my entire drum kit on the cart and move them with ease. I spent a lot of time looking at carts before deciding on the Rock and Roller. This cart is way better than any other cart on the market, and Hayneedle made it so easy to order and have delivered. Wish I would have purchased one years ago.

Nice bang for the buck!

This is a nice cart for general use hauling of equipment. It only adjusts from compact to fully extended. It should have some more adjustment holes (I added my own). The way you lower and raise the ends could be better. It uses a cable that you pull to "squeeze" the bottom ends of the "handle" together to rasie and lower it. A little weird to get used to. There is probably a better way to do it. Overall, though, I like it. Saves me a lot of time.

Great Piece of Gear

For many years I used a two wheeler that converted to a 4 wheel cart but, the capacity that it held doesn't even come close to this cart. Should have had one of these a long time ago. I used this for the first time last week at a gig and, in one trip just about got everything that I carry on this cart. Two trips took care of everything. Before this it took several trips and, the capacity of my old cart couldn't even come close to this Rock N Roller! Rolls very smooth and, steering is Great, even the locking wheels came in handy. I love the way it folds down into a small compact package, will fit in with the rest of the gear while before the other wheeler was a real pain to fit into my pickup topper and, get the back end closed. I am very pleased with this purchase and, I'm looking forward to using it at my next gig. I don't know that I'll use this for any other things but, I'm sure that I will. Very easy to put toghether and, all parts work smoothly. I would recommend getting some bungee straps, a good idea to keep everything in place.

Very useful cart

It's a great cart. I had borrowed them before from other people, so already knew what I was getting when I bought mine. Knocked a star off because of the quality. You get what you pay for. The wheels are super cheap and the construction is adequate, but a little sloppy. I also think the product could be improved with more than just one indexed stop for the extending load platform and also a latch to hold the fold up bar on the big wheel end when it's folded in compact transport mode. The bar flopping out is annoying when you are loading it into a vehicle. Other than that it is a pretty awesome cart and really works well for me.

Great Utility for Easy Moving of Our Church Sound Gear

With smooth trips on ramped carpeted surfaces, our new Multi-Cart we can now easily move our vocals' sound reinforcement gear in one trip and our instrument amps in another trip. Our praise group is very helpful with breaking down the vocal mics and coiling up the short cords from the 50-foot snake to the mics and putting away mic and music stands. Prior to acquiring the Multi-Cart, we hand-carried three vocal monitors each weighing between 20 and 30 pounds. Our two tube guitar combo amps each weighs between 35 and 42 pounds, while the micro-bass combo amp weighs 32 pounds - so hand carrying the instrument amps was causing undue wear and tear on our +/- 60 year old frames!

Good product

This is a nice, versatile cart. I needed something with a few different configurations that would also provide a horizontal surface (to use during tethered capture). I looked at a bunch of different carts and ended up getting this one mostly because of the price point, weight and versatility. I've used it on a few shoots so far and have really liked it. I can throw all my cases, bags and stands on there and secure them with a ratchet strap and a bungee cord. I pushed / pulled it around 10 blocks with about 150lbs of gear and it held up great. I am a little concerned about the small wheels and slightly flimsy build. I'm used to using Magliners which I've found to be really sturdy. But as I mentioned above, three shoots and no complaints / regrets whatsoever. Bottom line: if you're looking to buy an affordable solution that offers multiple configurations, then take a good look at this cart.
