To anyone considering this desk, let me just tell you it’s perfect. Incredibly beautiful in person and very solid, this thing is HEAVY but exudes quality. Everyone who has seen it is stunned. I will say that after unboxing I was saddened to discover the back of the elevated upper desk surface had somehow been snapped in half (dropped from forklift? Heavy crates stacked on top?), but Wayfair’s response has been perfect and exactly what I was hoping for. Working with their great customer service and delivery people has been absolutely painless, and they quickly sent out a complete replacement including service to remove the damaged original desk and unpack/assemble the replacement, all free of charge. The replacement is perfect—it’s simply the most beautiful desk I have ever seen and exactly what I hoped it would be when I first found it! Amazing desk and service, thank you!
