Drafting Chair
It is not a quality product. Every time I sit in it, btw I’m 175 pounds, I think it is going to break. Now I must shop for a better chair. Plus the washers and bolt for assembly were the wrong size…I had to go to Lowes to get correct ones.
Chair Broke After A Year And A Half
For awhile I loved this chair. I purchased it for my craft room.I don't always sit when I am in my craft room as I have a standing table so this chair really hasn't been used a terrible amount. Recently I started to feel like I was sitting sideways and slipping out of the chair. Had my boyfriend look at it and it is in fact tilted as a piece of metal bent underneath it. I have only had this chair for a year and a half. Very disappointed especially as it is steadily getting worse. Hard to see full extent of tilt in photo due to black fabric.
Poor Quality, Waste of Money
Poor quality chair, broke after one year and is under a “10 year warranty”. You will not be able to contact the vendor and target.com customer service will not offer a refund or take responsibility for their vendors lack of response. Poor quality and poor customer service from target.com and this vendor don’t waste your money. Base of chair is completely cracked and the vendor will not send the proper part.
This is the second time Walmart shipped a broke item to me. I finally ended up buying this item from Stapels. You might want to check this issue with your warehouse. This is the second time I received an item that was damaged. Last year it was my television that came in broken. twice and this time it was this chair. I am very disappointed.
Over priced piece of junk
This arrived today and after putting it together it isn’t worth the money. The seat higher when fully extended is only about 28 inches before you sit on it and it goes down a few more inches. Cheeply made. No wonder you don’t get to see it in the store. Do not buy.
Target won't stand by product
Metal snapped 6 months and one day after buying it. Just outside the return window. No refund. No exchange. Thanks for nothing.
Good chair but not durable
I bought this chair in Jan 2020. I chose this chair because my desk is at a weird height - not quite standing, too high for a regular chair (there are space reasons why I kept it at this height but anyway). For most of the last year it's been a great chair. It's been comfortable to sit in for roughly eight hours at a go, the foot rest is great, really had no problems for a long time. Now, I was ahead of the curve, planning to WFH a lot more due to a move to an open office, only of course just a few months later to be WFH 100% of the time instead of 50-75%. So I have been using this chair 5 days a week, almost every week, since last March, and this chair just didn't hold up. It is....tilted. The seat is totally tilted forward at an angle. I gradually started to realize I felt like sliding off when I sat down. It took a long time for that back-of-mind feeling to coalesce into A Thing, for me to realize I wasn't just imagining that feeling. I finally stepped back and looked at the chair and it is totally out of whack and I can't seem to fix it. After messing around with it quite a bit it really seems like the metal plate that connects the seat to the column has warped. It's hard to photograph but I picked one where you can see the big difference in space between the arm rests and the underside of the desk - the right armrest is much lower because of the underlying tilt. I'm pretty average height and weight. I wear a size medium in women's clothes. I can't swear that I sit in a perfectly ergonomic position every day so maybe I've been applying pressure in weird ways (but if anything I usually find myself really slouching, which doesn't seem like it would warp the chair into a forward tilt!). It was a cheap chair. It's really got that going for it, I suppose - it lasted a good while for the price (especially since I've looked at more expensive chairs with reviews that they broke in three months after constant use). But I still would have expected a better life span than one year.
It's exactly what I was looking for.
Love this chair, so easy to put together. And very comfortable..
DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR
It's a piece of junk that I carried from the store and now I have to carry it back!

Frequently Asked Questions
What's important to look for in an ergonomic office chair?
Adjustability in height, lumbar support, armrests, and seat depth are key features to look for to ensure comfort and support.
How often should I replace my office chair?
Quality office chairs can last 7-10 years. Replace when wear affects comfort or if the chair no longer supports proper posture.
Can the material of an office chair impact comfort?
Yes, breathable materials like mesh offer comfort for long hours, while leather can provide durability and a classic look.
What are the ergonomic considerations for a home office desk and chair?
The desk height should be approximately 30 inches (76 cm), with enough space under the desk for your legs — at least 24 inches (61 cm) for a desk chair with legs. For a chair with castors, a clearance space of 28 inches (71 cm) from the desk's edge is recommended.
How much space is required for a comfortable desk chair?
A chair with legs needs around 28 inches (71 cm) from the nearest desk edge, while a swivel chair requires more space due to its mobility.
What is the ergonomic height for a desk chair?
The seat of a desk chair should be about 18 inches (46 cm) high, with adjustable armrests for lateral and height movement.
What are the key measurements for ergonomic furniture design?
Work surfaces should be about 36 inches (91 cm) high, with at least 8 inches (20 cm) of legroom under the work surface, and office chairs should provide 28 inches (71 cm) of space for legroom.
What ergonomic principles should I follow when setting up my home?
Furniture should match the user's body type, with work surfaces at a comfortable height (usually 36 inches for kitchen counters) and seating that supports a relaxed posture.
What are some effective ways to clean and maintain my furniture and rugs?
Use sticky lint rollers for picking up small debris, wet wipes for mark removal, and thin stockings over vacuum nozzles to clean hard-to-reach areas like LEGO pieces.
