Firm and uncomfortable
I purchased this chair for 3 reasons: it swiveled, I liked the style and people said it was comfortable. I don't know if they got a different chair than me, but I found it to be very uncomfortable. The seat pad was very firm and hard. The back was also odd and unsupportive. I purchased 4 for my kitchen table, all will be getting returned. They look nice but I don't want to sit in them.

I was intrigued by the many reviews touting the comfort of this chair. It's really not much comfortwise. The chair is hard . The back and side supports are a lot shorter than I imangined. As a result there isn't much support coming from the back and sides. The top of the back of the chair hits at about mid back and leaning back in the chair is not comfortable. The height of the chair is the worst feature. It is much higher than every other chair I own. It requires a 5 inch foot stool to sit comfortably. Otherwise you sit with your only your toes touching the floor and your legs being pulled into the hard seat, adding to the discomfort. Swivel is great. But this chair was ultimately disappointing. And the box showed up mangled and partially opened as shipping boxes from target often do. also super disappointing
