Resin base, not metal as advertised.
Very attractive lamp, but the base is resin and not metal as advertised. The shade also spins regardless of how much the finial is tightened. I'm disappointed that the base is resin and not metal and that the shade turns if I touch it while pulling a chain, but it looks really good and matches my other cut glass furniture items.
