There are defects that you may want to be aware of for the future. The hinges for the top have either too small pilot holes or the screws do not meet specifications as three of the screw snapped off. I have pictures of the screw heads all at the exact same location. In the end I had to reposition and drill out the broken screws, use bigger pilot holes and use purchased screws to attach

Nice looking but have a drill handy

For the price, it’s great. Has that nice wood smell. The stain was not even on one panel, but that’s fixable with teak oil. Also, some of the holes for the lid hinges are not pre-drilled, so have your drill ready. I’d give it 5 stars if not for those minor things. Overall I’m happy with it!

Assembly is challenging.

It looks fine and will suit our purposes but it was very difficult to assemble. We had to break out our power drill to get the hinge bracket.

Cute box but the wood was marked up...

I like the look of this box, but unfortunately, ours came with very noticeable marking on the lid. We thought the side with markings would be the bottom of the lid, so it wouldn't matter, but once we got it put together we realized it was the top. The directions weren't really clear and it took over an hour to put together, so at that point, we didn't want to go through the hassle of disassembling it and returning it.

This wooden box is perfect for my small gardening tools. It looks great on my small patio and a great alternative to the plastic ones out there.

Nice Attractive Deck Storage Cabinet

Lovely box to store our covers. I was surprise how much there was inside for the size, but it will hold the table & chair covers and matches . Plus it matches our chairs and table. The cabinets looks like the picture and the lid has springs on both side for closing. It was a bear to put together, instead of starter holes for the screws they only had tiny dowel holes. We would buy it again and recommend to others.

Extremely difficult to put together as the directions were awful for the hinged top. The wood grains are all different colors and we have been getting a bit of water that is seeping into the box. Overall better to look at than those plastic bins but it is not quite perfect.

Good Quality - Perfect Height

I purchased the Furinno Tioman Outdoor Hardwood Storage Box to use as a side table for my egg chair swing outside. I needed something taller than a standard end table and wanted storage as well. This is perfect! It was easy to put together (well except the hinges lol) and seems to be good quality. I did paint it with a waterproofing sealer. It has plenty of storage and looks really good!

Holes don't match, parts missing, total mess.

Where to start? Wrong number of screws (7/12) thrown loose in the box. One set of pre-drilled holes is off by 1 inch. Will have to get a drill out. I've generally done very well with this type of pre-fit assembly. This is the worst one in my recollection.

Sturdy, easy to put together. Top opening is hinged about 2/3 of the way back making the opening less than the depth of the box. Spring is quite tight, so opening is a little quick. I disconnected the spring.

Looks great, but small issues

Looks nice and well constructed. Downsides are a VERY stiff spring that makes it open and close with a lot of force. I'm thinking of just removing that spring so it opens and closes more easily. It was also missing a single drill hole that I had to add.

The box could have rated higher but there were a few things that downgraded it to "fair". First, the good points: it was the perfect size for the front porch and it was made of wood. No other manufacturer made a box this size with wood. Now the bad: 1) the instruction manual (if you want to call it that) was mostly illustrations and extremely poor. You had to guess how to put the box together. The manual made a point of one side panel being on the left side but I never figured out why. The side panels had some pre-drilled holes, presumably for the lid hinges, but they didn't line up with the hinge holes. Also, the pre-drilled holes were too small for the hinge mounting screws and the screws weren't self tapping screws. I had to use my own drill to drill holes for the screws. The manual indicated a 20 minute assembly time and it took me almost 2 hrs.

The box is great & so beautiful on my patio! It went together easily... did it myself! One problem... the box (for the brass hinges to attach the top) did not come with predrilled holes! Not one! I wasn’t about to try lining up my own drilled holes!

How nice it looks and how versatile it is

This unit worked perfectly in our covered patio. We needed a place to store the bags of pellets for our smoker. This was a great way to get the "hidden" storage and yet keep it outside close to the smoker. Now not only do I have storage I have a beautiful end table that people can put drinks and food on!!
