Barely works

Could be better quality, especially for $75.

Pretty, But...

I bought this because I know Paulownia wood makes for good furniture; however, I returned it because the shelves once folded out leaned downward, allowing the books to slide forward.

Before you return it... check the shelf pegs

This bookshelf is light - which I expected - but I had trouble with the (very easy) setup. Make sure the shelf pegs are (what I consider) upside down. (The shelves don't lay on the flat part like usual, the "peg" part inserts into the bottom of the shelf which makes the shelves reasonably level.) It's okay, but would not work with anything heavy.

Very Pretty Book Shelves

Very pretty book case. I purchased two and put them side by side. Arrives in two flat boxes . All you have to do is open boxes, lift shelves and snap in place. Does not require and tools. The reason I am giving giving it three stars is because the wood is basically plywood. Super thin and flimsy. The painters missed all the edges and I had to re touch them up with paint that I had. Sad how bad things are crafted.

The shelves were not as wide as I thought they would be.
