Our family is a bunch of Texas river rats during the summer, we float as often as we can. My husband and I each have big chair looking towable tubes that are sturdy and expensive that has lasted us 9 years so far and have held up over rocks and such. We decided we needed something for our two young boys that would be sturdy. we decided on this one because it has a spot for both of them to sit side by side so they don't have to fight over a tube or one being too big or too small. we took this on a float trip to the state park early this month and it's awesome! even the adults could sit on each side with a kid in their laps and go down the little rapids. the only complaint is this sucker is HEAVY to pull around and carry/pick up when it gets some water in the bottom under the cover and seats. make sure when you get out of it you turn it over a dump it out before you try to move it.

We've had a number of people go boating with us that weren't into wakeboarding or wakesurfing. They said if we had a towable, they would try that, so we went on a search to see what was out there. We decided to give the Airhead Mach 2 a try and we couldn't be more pleased. We've had it out on the water several times, this summer, and everyone has enjoyed it. It is relatively easy to inflate and deflate and seems to be holding up to the wear and tear just fine. We've had two adults in it and we've run it with a single person as well. With one person, we found it is most comfortable, and fun, to sit on the divider between the two cockpits.

After 1 season this tube held up well. It wasn't kept out in the sun so the UV rays didn't do much. This tube is really made for younger kids or smaller adults. I'm about 6 feet 200lbs and am just a little bit too big. Kids had a blast on it all year. One of them was only 3 and she loved it. It does have a tendency to fill with water and need draining. Overall it's not perfect but it I think I got what I paid for. Decent product for a decent price.

The younger kids (5-7yo) really love this tube! Provides plenty of positive buoyancy to keep them from acting as a submarine at start up. The seats are deep enough that they are able to ride very securely at about 18-20mph without risking falling out. If you have a young one that is scared of the flat topped tubes, this is the way to go.
