Is brown wood furniture making a comeback?

For years I've seen the brown furniture (mid century modern style) be replaced with white minimalist pieces - ESPECIALLY in "modern" kitchens. Idk if it's the coloring & lighting in these pictures, but the brown is starting to grow on me again. There's something about this color combo (warm wood + olive) that I find really satisfying & soothing.
