Brown Cord hangs from top and parts stripped.
I was excited to order this. Because I thought it would look very chic since the style is updated mid century. The stand is solid wood. The stand is attractive. However, I received it nicked up slightly. That I can fix. But, I'm very disappointed in this lamp. The part that hold the lamp shade, will not screw on. It's too big for the bolt? Or stripped. The cord is brown. It drops from the top not bottom. Unusable because it's stripped.
The image is a lie - false advertising!
Warning, the image of the lamp has been edited. The power cord has been removed to make this lamp look elegant. The cord goes through the metal tube and hangs out the back like a tail then drops to the floor from behind. It looks tacky and cheap. This false advertising
