The stools are perfect. I bought 2 pair and they look great and are the perfect height for my breakfast counter. . . As for assembly, it’s easy once you realize that the was an extra swivel assembly already attached to the seat that needed to be removed in order to attach the swivel assembly that comes with it, and is the only way to attach the legs to the seat. Scratched my head a bit until I realized their error. Then assembly was pretty easy.
