Great product, poor presentation

The curtain is great and keeps my room dark. My only complaint is the picture makes it appear as a set of two when it is actually sold as a single panel and you need to order two to have a pair. This information is buried and you must click on more> under product details. This information should be provided in a more obvious manner.

Nice quality. Does the job.

Thick and nice feel. Black out feature is effective. I have had the curtains for over a year now the dark brown color has resisted fading well and the black out feature continues to be very effective. No complaints. I would buy them again.

These are of such poor quality that it is like sleeping on sandpaper. A complete waste of money!!! I am literally up in the middle of the night writing this because I can't sleep due to these sheets. What is the point of buying an adjustable bed when the overpriced sheets available are half polyester and of such poor quality that one has to leave bed and go sleep on the couch because of the rough surface these sheets cause. I just got ripped off. I suggest to everyone not to buy these. They are very poor quality to say the least.

Keeps sunlight and heat out of west facing room

These are essential for protecting your house from the hot Florida sun. Used on a West facing window. Keeps the sun out and keeps the room cool. I realize that our plantation shutters (destroyed in the hurricane) let a lot of heat in. I think I'll keep the blackout curtains. Easy to pull back during the day. Clean, fresh look.

It shouldn’t be this difficult

The curtain itself is exactly what I need however, advertisement describe two panels, and only one came. The one that arrived has green ink all over it. I called customer service and they said they would replace this one and send the other missing one at no charge, yet I haven’t received anything nor have I heard anything else on the matter.

Okay curtains!

This curtains do keep the light out! There’s a teeny tiny bit of light that does show, but I like that they do the job. But the wrinkles from packaging stayed in mine, even after washing them. I think the people who review this as not keeping the light out, want it absolutely pitch black which these don’t do. So there not lying these let in about 95% of the light.

Nice quality and perfect for the purpose- shut out light with a classy looking curtain! Would (will) order more! However, we bought another pair/another brand and NOW we know what blackout curtains really are- check for the "blackout" wording and check reviews. These new curtains we ordered really do shut the light out. However, the quality is quite good on this brand, too,

excellent quality

I love my new curtains. The purple is not too dark and not too light. They do a good job at keeping the daylight out. I bought 4 total curtains for my 2 bedroom windows and will be buying again for my other 2 bedroom windows. I paired them with black curtain rods and black magnetic tiebacks.

You get what you pay for

Bought these in white for under $10 each. I like the textured look but not a fan of the material. These are 100% polyester but feel like a tarp - thick and rough. These are also poorly advertised - they are not blackout and have a super thin thermal layer. They do filter light and serve their purpose. If you want true blackout curtains I would advise spending the $20 .

Poorly Made

I bought these curtains one week ago. I am disappointed. the curtains are poorly made. The length from top to bottom is 62 inch instead of the 63 inch that I ordered. These curtains make the room look unpolished. The bottom has a flaw in the cut. The left side is shorter. The material is decent (just poorly made.) I will be returning for a refund.

I ordered 2 panels last year and didn't notice the stain until I had washed and hung them. The "handprint like" stain didn't come out in the first wash and didn't the 2nd wash. I just received 2 of the some panels and color and when I opened the panel it was stained along the hem. These stains may be in the dying process? So disappointed, because I really like the color.

Ok

Decent for the price. It's a little tight on the rod and makes it a little hard to open and close but other than that was ok. Seemed well made. I just needed a curtain without any metal for the bathroom because the last ones got rusty from the moisture. They were a good white color because I ordered another brand that was supposed to be white and came in looking grey so returned.

Good quality

Look good. I like that they are lined that way the curtain doesn't fade. Just put up today hoping the lines come out from where it was all folded up. Even if it doesn't it still looks really nice. More like a green color than a blue. Just what I was looking for. Not completely black out, But say it was dark outside, if lights are on inside, you cannot see from the outside in. Great for privacy.

Good value for the price

The curtain panels were the right length and color, they arrived on time. I ordered the panels in ivory, and they do not block out the sunlight as much as I would have liked. They are a stiff texture- okay for my son's aesthetic, but I hope to find something more billowy/feminine for my daughter's room. Good purchase for the price- Best Buy had some I liked more, but they were much more expensive & they didn't have a total of 4 panels in one suitable style. These are not life-changing, but they will serve their purpose.

Frustrated!!!

I purchased these drapes barely a year ago. Care instructions say you can machine wash in cold water. I washed panels 6 at a time. The first set was fine. The 2nd set did not fair well at all. The blackout backing stuck together. Macy's return policy needs to be revamped. Drapery and other such items should have their own policy. If I could have given ZERO stars I would have. Macy's DO BETTER. Nor can I upload photos!!! Max size is 5MB per photo, formats are supposedly jpg, gif, png, and bmp

Useless in blocking light

These curtains are the only items i have ever purchased from overstock.com that i do not like. First of all they take forever to iron amd get the wrinkles out. Then if you turn up the heat you are likely to melt the backing in spots. Which i did. I live in Port Huron the sunrise city andy bedroom window faces due east. These curtains let in most of the light. They are awful. I had to sandwich them between another set of drapes with black plastic between the layers to keep put the sun. They are a total waste of money and as i damaged them slightly pressing them they ate not returnable. Do not waste your money on these as they will not keep out the light and you will have wrinkles on your windows

I bought two panels of this curtain in artichoke. I really like the color. The curtain is made of a pretty durable fabric and has a white liner. While it does block out more light than miniblinds alone, it doesn't black out light. If the miniblind slats are left in the regular position, I can the light between the slats through the curtains. I have to turn the slats the other direction. Light not only comes through the fabric but is also seen at the top and sides. I am using a wrap-around rod that doesn't jut out more than two inches, but a lot of light is still visible. If you buy this, you may want a rod that is completely flush with the wall/window frame. I was also annoyed that after days of searching for a curtain that I liked, all that was left in this in the size I wanted was ONE panel. Ugh. I had to buy longer ones. That might not be bad for pooling on the floor, but the stiffness of this fabric does not allow it to drape on the floor very well. I considered hemming them shorter, but it is a hassle, and I already spent extra $ on the longer panels so I would hate to cut them. I have photos taken with my phone, but this stupid thing is saying they are too small and will not upload them. Grr.

I received these curtains with scuffs and marks already on them despite the product arriving in plastic packaging. Since I work nights & sleep days, I overlooked the unsatisfactory presentation and quickly installed them to see if these 'blackout' curtains could eliminate any - if not all - light peering between the closed blinds on my windows. I was frustrated with the results, to say the least. Ideally, I would have liked to purchase window treatments that appeal to the eye and enhance the decor & design of my room. Unfortunately, blocking light was the first priority when I began shopping for curtains. Not only was I disappointed by the functionality of these tarnished curtains, but also, I found the curtain material to feel and look low-quality. Ultimately, I was disappointed with this product.
