These were sturdy, but the faux leather looked cheap. I expected better from a $240 bar stool. The fabric ones probably would have been great, but none in stock. Also, the correct hardware was not sent, so we couldn't even finish assembling it. No problems returning it, though, so at least that was easy.
I initially bought the medium grey stools, but when they arrived, I discovered that the "grey" was actually "brown." We have a lot of grey in our house, so I put the cushions up against everything that was grey. Nope, the cushions were definitely brown. So, they (three) were returned. When I spoke to the rep, I asked if they had swatches they could send. Nope, they don't do that. There were, at the time, NO swatches on the site. Also, I'd note here that my entire family really liked the material that was used; it was smooth and could be wiped easily. A big plus! Ok, so I bought another three in the light grey. They arrived two days ago, and we opened them up, only to discover that one of the cushion sets (both the back and seat) was stained, as if they were returns! Okay, that's an easy fix (return for replacement), but a big shock was that the material used is completely different than what was on the previous set of stools I had received. I went back to the page on the site with the stools on them, and lo and behold, they now have swatches on the site so you can see that material close up. Guess what? The material for the light grey is indeed what I received: a linen type look that is highly textured. Not at all what the pictures of the actual stool looks like and not at all the polyurethane that was used on the stools I previously received in the warm grey. Also, there is still a hint of brown in the fabric; it's not truly a light grey. Sigh... Disappointed as we've looked everywhere else we could possibly look for any other stool we like, to no avail. They style of this stool, and the fact that it swivels and has a large seat for comfort, will end up prevailing over the bad naming of the color. I rated this 3 stars in one of the reviews of these stools as that is the one with the stains. I am deducting one star here because of the misleading color name.
Comfy
Chairs are great! Very comfortable. Had issues with the manufacturer sending the wrong backs, but they sent new ones that fit.
