Seat height is 16.5" not the advertised 18".
We were happy with the quality of the chair, but returned it because the seat height is only 16.5" not the advertised 18". We were very disappointed with the fact that the chair was not as high as advertised because we specifically checked the information about the height before we bought the chair. We found the height information in the Q & A.

Very nice chair! Easy to put together. Can't wait to "finish" this chair The wood is really pretty and with a natural finish it will be handed down someday to family. The fact that in the event that it becomes wobbly, it can be tightened up is also a big plus.

This is a great chair. Good quality. Received it two days earlier than expected. Was so excited until I discovered it came with NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS!!! I dug through the box and opened every little cranny twice. I didn’t want to go through the hassle of returning it so I figured it out myself. Having assembled a LOT of stuff myself it wasn’t that hard but I still have to dock stars for what I consider missing pieces.
Solid chair on casters
This is wonderful for my purposes. As another reviewer mentioned it does sit a little low but that's what I needed to fit the table I'm using it at. My son said it was extremely easy to put together, small tools are included and excellent instructions. I added a cushion, I might add one more. It is solidly built, I'm delighted!
