This rug is visually beautiful and is exactly the right balance of colors. That being said- there is a terrible glue like odor that has not gone away. I've had this rug for almost 3 months and although its not as strong as it was it still has a very strong smell to it. I'm a fan of wellness oils and always have these dispersing thru out my home- the gluey smell now over powers the calm smelling oils.
SMELLS terrible, feels and looks cheap. I picked this rug specifically because there were no reviews complaining about smell or odor, and one person even mentioned "no smell". It smells so bad. Toxic plastic odor. I returned a wool rug because it was shedding, but maybe I should have just kept it. This rug looks very cheap. If you like nice things, you will not like this rug.
Nice rug but ...
The measurements are not accurate. I ordered 9' x 12'. I received 8'7" x 11'9". This may be industry standard measurements, but I was counting on the measurements stated in the Specifications. My love seat hangs off a little, but I guess I can live with that. I am glad I ordered a rug pad because the rug is very thin and feels almost like walking on the hardwood floor (not quite what I expected for .45" pile height). The colors are beautiful, although lighter than pictured. On a positive note, the rug appears to be well made. I would buy again, but a larger size.
