Great value for the price

These are really good barstools and were a perfect match for what we wanted. Very reasonably priced for what they are. The only issue we have had is that some of the sides have separated, requiring me to glue them back.

Multiple Defects

The overall design, appearance and functionality of these chairs is very good. Unfortunately, I purchased 4 chairs and each chair had 4 to 6 significant conspicuous defects. THE DEFECTS WERE NOT FROM SHIPPING DAMAGE. The chairs were packaged very well with all vulnerable areas covered in bubble wrap and/or cardboard. The exterior of the boxes were all unscathed. Some defects are pictured below and include cracked wood, scuffed wood with finish color removed, blemishes and indentations on otherwise smooth surfaces. I could only post 6 photos in this review but there are many more. I'm going to keep the chairs and restore the defects which I expect will take about 6 hours of my time. If you're expecting chairs without major flaws, I can't recommend these. It is unfortunate, because with a little more attention to finishing detail and improved quality control, these would be terrific chairs.

Durable

These bar stools fit great at our breakfast bar! As are the Hercules chairs, they are extremely durable. (Hence the name!) They also match well with our decor.

Weight Capacity

I shopped bar stools more than a month doing research, as weight capacity was very important to me. The price of bar stools where maximum weight capacity was 250 or 275 pounds, price was same or more and you had to put together. These say weight capacity is 800 pounds! These are very attractive, heavy duty and appear to be restaurant quality, and come assembled. Couple of the boxes they came in were a little ragged, but furniture was wrapped and no damage. Couple of worn spots, but you have to look hard to find and nothing Old English won't take care of. For the price and quality of these stools, I highly recommend.

I ordered 15 of these 2 separate times for a total of 30 and EVERY one of them has a scratch/ dent/ missing part and all had dust all over them. The chair themselves seem to be quality- the packaging and shipping need a lot of help!

Beautiful stools

I searched hundreds of websites for bar stools. I was shocked to see how expensive they were. . . I finally ordered these beautiful wood stools, and was pleasantly surprised that they were delivered fully assembled and ready to be used. They are extremely sturdy and very comfortable. I would definitely recommend this product. They are an excellent quality and value.

Hope they clean up their act

First box was fine, chair was fine. Second box was poorly wrapped. Opening the box i could see the top of the chair had no protective wrapping and was covered with a thick dust so it must of sat exposed for a long time. Chair had numerous scratches to the back to deep for touch up . Company showed me how little they care about customer when the condition of package was so obvious .

Great Barstool

I love the barstools but was disappointed in the packing. All of the barstools that I ordered arrived damaged, even after reordering. They were packed in a cardboard box and rubbed through the cardboard on the sides and top of each chair. I talked with Customer Service to explain the packing issue so I hope that it is corrected. I did keep them as I really liked the size and construction.
