Farberware lasted 28 years

I bought a similar Farberware set 28 years ago, and it’s been so awesome but now after 28 years of washing in dishwasher they are barely starting to rust so I’m looking for a new set. Farberware held up 28 years of daily use and dishwashing; I think that was pretty awesome! I hope my new set is as good.

Knives, not recommend

They’re sharp enough, handles are a plastic material in fact I accidentally touched one on the rim of a pan and it now has a deep cut in the handle. The block is very cumbersome and takes up a lot of space on my counter. It’s a good thing a got them on a sale price that’s all their worth.

Knife set might as well be a bitter knife

Real Piece of junk. Better knives woold cut better, so would my teeth. Junk! And dont comcomping. Crap set. Even the wood showing off your crappy knives broke.

Just the right amount of different knives in the collection, like the sharpener addition, very light weight - not sure if this is plus or negative.

Dull Knives

These would have been returned, but my husband unpacked them and threw out the box. The knives arrived dull and after using the sharpener they were less dull but not sharp. Great example of you get what you pay for.

Very sharp steak knives

We need a smaller size wooden block for our tiny kitchen, and this fit the bill perfectly. Knives are really sharp! Especially the steak knives. Got it on safe so that made it ever better. Only 4 stars because I would have liked there to be more than one tiny paring knife.

Loved this new set of knives I purchased. Also love the ability to be able to sharpen them any time I desire. They are light weight and hold the edge very well in between sharpening. Highly recommend these knives for the novice or intermediate chef.

Not what I expected

Unfortunately, although I was game for buying this set, once I received it, I was very disappointed. They seem flimsy and not of good quality, moreover, they may only be "hand washed", which means you can't put them in the dishwasher. I will be returning these. : (
