Thick and soft. Perfect for kitchen. Just bummed the India House line is being discontinued.

Rug is not as described!
This rug is NOT BLACK as pictured and labeled on the picture. It is a dark charcoal grey. I bought them to go with other rugs that have a black background. Doesn't work! Very disappointed! Someone needs to change the picture.

Ordered the runner and a 5 x 7. The pile on the 5 x 7 is much thicker than the runner. Will be Exchanging and hope the next one is the same quality as the larger rug.

It is not the quality we were looking for. It also looked more formal and ornate in person. The colors weren't exactly what we thought they would be either. We returned it. T
Thick and elegant
The rug is thicker than I imagined which could be a pro or con depending on your situation. Could be a tripping hazard for some or prevent a door sliding over it. But in my front hall, it works fine. Looks very nice in the room. The print is BOLD, so be prepared for that.
