The design of the kit did not allow the fitter to be flush with fan housing. This was a Hunter kit to a Hunter Ceiling fan.

Excellent light kit

I was given a Hunter fan but it didn’t have a light and this one is great.

Required Different Screws

Installed to a Hunter Archive series fan that already had a single bulb fitter. I found that the screws provided did not have the length to start into the threaded holes. This was compounded i believe, by the large amount of wiring in the fitter that needed too go into the space above in the fan. I was able to buy different screw at the hardware store that made the job of installing much easier.

So close...

Nice light unit once you order extra parts - you will need K014401632 from fix or e-replacement parts as the unit does NOT come with the weighted pull chain.

Value product that fit my needs

This hunter ceiling fan light kit was the perfect, simple solution to the fan in my office that didn't have a light kit. Installation took about 5 minutes and the instructions were easy to follow and laid out plainly so anyone can install in a breeze

It fit well with an extra step

I contacted Hunter first to make sure this light kit would fit with my Hunter fan. It fit and went on easily. There was an extra step I had to figure out with the electrical connections to get them to snap together. There were two plastic pieces that I had to remove and then it snapped together easily.

Used for conversion from E12 to A19

Worked well with shirt fan, used it to convert from E12 to A19

Nice light attach hooks up easy their is 2 issues

Downside the 2 screws that hold the base are slightly to short luckily I found 2 in my shop that worked other thing no glass covers I bought three at Walmart for 6 something a piece in store so it looks nice now for 50 some dollars you can’t supply glass bulb covers really
